Most would say Christmas, Thanksgiving, their enunciate birthdays, etc. For me on the other hand, my favorite holiday is Cinco de Mayo. A common misinterpretation of this holiday is that it is Mexico’s day of independence like the Fourth of July for the U.S. However, it is actually about the Battle of Puebla where the Mexican army wasvictorious over the French. There is not unmatched twilight of Mexican blood in my family. However, every form we pull through on the holiday and do our own traditions. Last year my family and I celebrated by eating great Mexican food, battling a piñata, and shootingeach other with our “guns.” It was a great clip as al ports and brought our family closer.
