The people of the new world lost their freedoms but in return receive many pleasures. This thus adds to the apprehension of keen the truth. They dont want to know the truth because they are dexterous not to and it seems like they dont want to know the truth, either. To keep off ever knowing the truth they use soma. By taking somas, they turn away truth whenever they are frightened by it. It in turn conceals their sorrows and kinda fills them with fake hallucinations. In the story there are two types of truths. whiz type of truth is related to human relationships and emotions. Emotions and relationships give people large(p) happiness, but they also can cause a great appropriate of pain. Due to these pains, no one forms relationships with the opposite sex.
